Hi, I’m Janet, an experienced Social Worker and Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner. I work with clients to achieve mental wellness, gently releasing distressing emotions to restore calm, clarity and control. I offer affordable, effective compassionate care. You can choose to access support online from the comfort of your own home, or in person.

I provide traditional counselling sessions as well as offering contemporary clinical evidence based emotional freedom techniques, (combined cognitive somatic therapy).
Unlike traditional talk therapy, which emphasises problem analysis, clinical EFT directly target the body’s emotional response system, so stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma and physical pain are quickly alleviated. The powerful tool combines elements of traditional psychotherapy with acupressure. Tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on the issue causing distress, gently and effectively releases negative emotions and rewires the brain for a more positive outlook.
Research shows it improves emotional regulation, reduces symptoms and enhances well-being in fewer sessions under the guidance of a trained EFT practitioner.
